Aims and Scope

Metabolic Medicine (MM) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes innovative preclinical, translational and clinical research on human metabolism, metabolic pathways involved in systemic disorders, and emerging insights into the epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, prevention, prediction, prognosis, treatment and cure of metabolic diseases and their complications. The journal aims to publish impactful, high-quality articles on all aspects of human metabolism and metabolic diseases, from basic science to translational research and clinical investigation, in order to advance knowledge in the rapidly evolving field of metabolic health. The journal prioritizes research with strong potential for translation into clinical practice.
